ryan smith about flouride

Fluoride

People are having second thoughts about fluoride in water systems. Research shows that too much fluoride can rise of disordered affecting our teeth, bones, the brain and the thyroid glands. National research council recommended that the government lower the limit for the amount found in many foods and beverages and tooth paste. Beverages like juice, soda, ice pops, fruit, and processed foods. When teeth come out UN evenly colour or pitted and stained brown.

bi as a bull

sorry i have to post this again!!!!

Big as a bull
When I read this article I was astounded by the fact that rodents yes the small fury things you cuddle and hold could be as big as a bulls. Now you won’t want to be cuddling and holding a thing like that. And also the fact that it was a new species is absolutely ridiculous. It could be linked to another family of rodents. It is also fascinating that their jaws are not very powerful and they survived on little more than fruit and plants. And in South America there would have been plenty of fruit in the cool damp rainforests. The largest living rodent today is about 940 kilograms less heavy then this one. So you can see the comparison is second to none. But I think the rodent would have to be 4 metres long to even out its weight. And I can agree that it would not have a very long tail. But if this creature lived around sabre-toothed cats then it would be eaten right away because it has no means of defence. So as far as I am concerned they did dig up a rodent but it was not a new species and it did not live around sabre-toothed cats.

do farmers ply their dairy cows with hormones?

this artcle is about this new guidelines that allow thal allow diaries to label milk so that consumers know if that milj has been produced by a cow in a natural, healthy way or if the cow had been injected with growth hormone (rBGH) also known as recombinant bovine somatotropin (rBST), which is usefull for the farmer who will be getting much more milk and faster and oviously for that, much more money too but also the milk will be more chemical and not that healthy and natural.

''This is a victory for free speech, free markets, sustainable farming and the consumer's right to know," Michael Hansen, a senior scientist with the Consumers Union (CU), said about the state's about-face. "Consumers increasingly want to know more about how their food is produced and, particularly, whether it is produced in a natural and sustainable manner. There is no justification for prohibiting information about rBGH use on a milk label.''

i think it is very good what their doing because i think milk with hormones is not good and at least the clients who are buying the milk should know if what their drinking every day is healthy, artificial or what it has, i think this is very good, and people should stop putting hormones to animals!

Scientists Can Predict Psychotic Illness in up to 80 Percent of High-Risk Youth

The article is about scientists that are finding a way to know when a person can have Psychotic Illness, it can be predicted by some synthoms, like if the
*person spends a lot of time in his/her room being alone and not having anything to do
*Having unsual thoughts, like thinking extrange people are talking about you, etc.
Scientists start finding out these kind of things at a young age, teens start hearing buzzing and then see images that dissapear a few seconds later, also thinking that some people are following them. All of these are factors that let scientists know that something is wrong, and they can prevent it by giving therapies to the people, etc.

What I think about this is that it's really good that scientists figured that out so that psychotic illness can stop, because they affect the people that have them a lot and also the people that are around them in their environment, so if it can be prevented I think is the best thing to do so that it can stop and people can live happy and have a very good life without mental problems & trouble.

Milk and Honey, er, Hormones by Lisa Stein January 18th 2008

I don't agree with them not labeling milk saying that farmers did or did not use any growth hormones on cows. People should have a choice to drink the kind of milk they want, whether it is with hormones or not. Labels on milk should be used so that people can decide for themselves as to what they are eating. Farmers should not be using hormones on cows to begin with because it is both bad for the cows and the consumer of the milk. In today's world there is more and more food that is not natural or that has been changed in one way or another.
