if you were swiming in the ocean, it would be hard for you to miss a sperm whale swimming by. they're no longer than the average of a school bus. males can grow as long as 62 feet and once every or so they come to surface and breath.
sperm whales usually feast for squid, but to catch these animlas the whales sometimes have to dive thousand of feet below the ocean surface.
the whales take turns doing the deep dives because is very difficult to dive that deep.
how do you think whales keep their breath that long?
